When You Tell One Lie It Leads To Another
Paul Hatch                                          So you lie and lie without even trying
                                                                                And each lie is multiplying
'Till the whole wide world will know
                                                                                        You're lying
When you tell one lie, it leads to another                       Then you'll be
So you tell two lies to cover each other                             Suspected
Then you tell 3 lies and, Oh brother,                                 Detected
You're in trouble up to your ears!                                      Rejected
So you tell four lies to try to protect you                            Neglected
Then you tell five lies so folks wont suspect                   Disliked
                       you                                          And you should
When you lie, you're closing the door
                                                                           On everything good!

Then you tell six lies and you'll collect
A life filled with worries and fears
'cause you cant remember how many lies
                   you've told
And half the things you say arent true
And sometime you'll slip up, you'll trip
              and then
what ever you become of you?
